REBID: Undo Upstairs Work - Frame, Drywall, & Mud in West Des Moines, IA

We need the attempted work that was recently performed "undone". The "new" framing all needs to be removed. 12-18" of ceiling will now need to be patched in.

Then, we need a new (new) wall (re) built separating the bathroom from the bedroom. This wall is approximately 12'. It needs to be framed out for a 36" door opening. The red line in the cover photo indicates the placement of the new wall. Also see image of blueprint.

The ceiling and walls will need patched where the old wall was removed. The ceiling is knockdown and the texture will have to be matched where patched.

Two new walls each 38" in length need to be built where the shower goes. The new shower will immediately be installed once the walls are built. Once the shower is installed, the rest of the shower walls will need to be drywalled with greenboard and the shower lip will need to be mudded in.

In the pictures you will see that the closet needs drywalled both inside and out. The knee wall around the stairs also needs drywalled on the side visible in the pictures.

The new drywall will need to be tapped, topped, and skimmed, made ready for paint.

All perimeter walls including the walls going down the stairs need to be skimmed/glazed and made ready for paint.

Finally, we want everything on the upper level to receive a light orange peel texture.
